At the northwest tip of Lifou, the cliffs of Jokin rise steeply above water so clear you can see coral from the top. A staircase leads down to the sea for swimming when conditions are calm.
Jokin is customary land: ask permission at the tribe or go with a guide, and pay any access fee requested.
